On Tuesday 23rd March, Dalestorth joined in with the UK's National Day of Reflection to reflect on our collective loss, support those who've been bereaved, and hope for a brighter future.
During the morning, we tied ribbons onto the school fence then observed a minute silence at 12pm. After the silence, we joined in with a whole school clap and listened to some uplifting music.

We had such a treat on Wednesday when the author Steve Webb “visited” us. It was so lovely to have the key worker children along with the home leaners together for this event. We loved listening to Steve read his books singing along in parts. He talked to us about how to develop characters in stories and we all enjoyed creating out own villains after the session. Steve is looking forward to looking at these and is going to award some prizes! Big thank you to Mrs Hill for arranging this for us.
