We are also very lucky to have Mrs Carter helping us each Wednesday afternoon
Mrs Hill and Mrs Weston help us with various groups work. 
Useful Information
Our P.E. days are Mondays and Tuesdays.
Each Tuesday we will have a times table test and an arithmetic practise.
Homework is given out every Thursday and is due in the following Tuesday.
You should read at least 3 times a week. I will check diaries on a Friday to see who has read.

West Midlands Safari Park
Today we visited west midlands safari park with year 6. We saw lots of amazing animals and had fantastic ice cream weather.

Just before the half term holiday we took part in a mini sports day at Quarrydale Academy.

Spring Creative projects
On Wednesday 25th January we took part in a prayer workshop run by Becca. She showed us lots of different ways in which we can pray and reflect on things. We particularly liked the the prayer plaits.

We've been to the Galleries of justice this week (Tuesday 24th January) We had a great time acting out a mock trail with Ashton as the guilty party!

We've been looking at Fables in English this term and we've been acting out two different ones: 'The girl and the fox' and 'The ride of passage'.

Volcano creative homework
I am absolutely blown away by your creative homework this term! You have all taken so much pride and effort. Thank you so much for your hard work. We've taken pictures have a look at everyone's projects below.
Chocolate Rocks
To round off our work on volcanoes we spent this afternoon making sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rock out of milk, dark and white chocolate.
We looked at how pressure, heat and larva helps to create these. Take a look at the pictures and see what we got up to.
ART WEEK
We had so much fun during art week. Our artist was Salvador Dali. Take a look at the sculptures we created out of clay based on his work.
