Our trip to Nottingham University
Our Topic learning showcase
We loved sharing our learning with you and the other children in school. We were proud to show you what we had learnt during our Geography topic, "Would you rather live in Sutton-in-Ashfield or in an African Village?"
Red Nose Day
In March, we raised money for Comic Relief. We came dressed up and had a cake sale and raised over £500
Number day
We raised money for the NSPCC on our Number Day. We dressed with numbers on our clothes, had lots of fun with maths investigations and competed in maths competitions.
Don’t be afraid!
To celebrate Christmas we performed our Christmas play called “Don’t be afraid”. We told the Christian story of the first Christmas. We sang, danced and performed. Look at us in our outfits! Don’t we look fabulous!
London's Burning!
We learnt "London's Burning" and enjoyed performing in assembly. Look at our fabulous performance!
Sutton Library Visit
In November we visited Sutton Library. We were all beautifully behaved at the library and enjoyed listening to stories as well as browsing and choosing books to take home. We loved being out in the community. A big thank you to Sutton Library for inviting us.
Harvest Festival
We had a lovely morning singing songs to celebrate Harvest Festival. We were blown away by the generosity from the families of Dalestorth School, thank you once again for your support.
