Welcome to Year 3 Wildcats!
We are a busy class of 23 children. Miss Adams is our teacher, and Mrs Hill teaches us on a Thursday morning. Mrs Bennett works with us every day.
Our PE days are Mondays and Tuesdays, but it is helpful to have your kit in school all week. We always aim to do a mixture of indoor and outdoor PE when we can, so please make sure both kits are in school so we all look the part whatever the weather! Our new PE units for the first half of the Summer term will be dance and games.
We do our times tables tests on a Tuesday, so please make sure your child has practised ready for the day!
Homework is given out on a Wednesday, and is due back the following Monday. Every week, the children will receive 1 spelling task and 1 piece of English or Maths to complete.
Please make sure your children are reading at home. If they read three times or more per week and this is evidenced in their blue diaries, they will receive a stamp for their chart.
A huge thank you for all of your creative homework based on our 'Set in Stone', 'What Did The Romans Do For Us?' and 'Shake, Rock And Roll' topics. They all showed a huge amount of work and effort - I was so impressed! We had a super time presenting them to our friends and looking at other people's work in the hall.
We have had lots of fun in school so far this year and lots of exciting things have happened, you can see the pictures below! Lots more pictures of exciting events will be added throughout the Summer term and we have a lot to look forward to now we are back from our Easter break.
Every half term, we have a class council meeting during assembly time. This is a time for us to think as a whole class about what has gone well over the last half term. We also have chance to discuss any problems or issues we might have. Please see our notes from our meetings below:
