The National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2 (Years 1-6)
As a maintained school, Dalestorth Primary follows the National Curriculum.
This includes teaching: Maths, English, Science, Computing, PE, History, Geography, Music, Art, Technology and Foreign Languages (from age 7) It is also statutory that schools will teach RE according to local guidelines and we also teach SMSC (Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural Education) which includes British Values and PSHE. SMSC is delivered throughout all we do but also in assemblies and specific PSHE and British Values lessons.
