Exciting News - Summer Fun Day 22nd July 2021

Halloween Dress Up Day!

Stone Age Day - On Tuesday 15th September, Cougars enjoyed an amazing Stone Age day with Simon. We took part in so many activities: making Stonehenge; willow weaving; cave painting; wooden medallion making; creating clay people to warn off evil spirits and examining real Stone Age artefacts. The children were superbly behaved throughout and had a super time. A huge thank you to Simon for organising such a brilliant day. Check out our photos below:

Our topics this year will be:

Autumn Term - History Focus – The Stone Age

                         Could you survive the tribe?

Spring Term – Geography Focus – Ancient Rome

Why wasn’t Rome built in a day?

Summer Term – Art Focus – Sculpture and drama

Each term, you will receive a newsletter telling you more information about each topic as well as brand new Knowledge Mats! These provide you with ‘Subject Specific Vocabulary’ and ‘Sticky Knowledge’ that your child will be learning throughout the topic.
