Everybody looked amazing today dressed up for Pudsey Day. Throughout the week the children made their own Pudsey bunting with the winning class being Lynx. We have also had the Pudsey Bear raffle, cake sales and have used leaves and sports equipment to make our own Pudseys. So far we have raised a massive £720 and more is still rolling in! Thank you everyone for all your support.
Please look at our fundraising section https://www.dalestorth.notts.sch.uk/fundraising/ for more information on Children in Need.
On Tuesday 12th November, years 5 and 6 enjoyed a super World War 2 day. We researched the timeline of WWII; looked at and made our own propaganda posters; took part in a strict army drill led by Sergeant Thorne and enjoyed tomato soup, cheese bread whilst listening to war time music.
Check out our photos and videos on your child's class webpage.
On Monday and Tuesday, years 3 and 4 were treated to a tour of a Hindu Temple in Nottingham. The children learnt about Hinduism and what it is like to be a Hindu. The children had a fantastic time and enjoyed learning about a new culture and religion. Please look at the photos that are on your child’s class page.
