  • The author, Daniel Henshaw completes his visit!

    Mon 19 Mar 2018 H Claxton
As part of our World Book Day celebrations we invited the author Daniel Henshaw to come and visit us. Daniel has written 2 books, "The great snail robbery" and "The case of the missing orangutan", which are both mystery stories. He led an assembly for us and we had to solve the case of the missing wedding dress. Daniel then worked with all of our KS2 children, helping them to shape their own mystery stories. It was fab to meet a "real life" author and we're so glad that Daniel came back to complete his work with us, after a snow day stopped him on his first visit!

All the entrants received a certificate and a creme egg. The winner entries and the display of all the photos can be found on the "English" page under "Key information", "Our curriculum". Thank you so much for your participation in this competition. We clearly do have lots of children who are passionate about reading!
