Rise and Shine!

For Main School,  (FS2 - Year 6) school can start at 7:45am. 

Come and join us for cereal, cereal bars, yogurts & juice, followed by games and activities.  No need to book, just come along....

7:45am - Daily.  Cost: £3.50 a day. Please book on Scopay. 

Latest entry to Breakfast Club is 8:15am.

 The Honey Pot After School Club

Booking Conditions and Information:

Charges - After School Club will run from the end of the school day until 5.30 pm. The price is £7.50 per child per session.  Activities and a snack are included in the price.

If your child attends from the end of the day until 4.30pm the charge would be £3.75.

If your child is at a school run club until 4.30pm and then attends The Honey Pot the charge would be £3.75.

If siblings attend at the same time, the price will be £5 for the whole session, or £2.50 for 4.30 - 5.30pm for the second child.

Bookings and Payment– Payments will be via Scopay. You will need to pay before any sessions can be booked. Bookings can be made up until 1pm on the day that you would like your child to attend. No bookings will be taken after this time.

Late charges - A late charge per family will apply for any collection after 5.30 pm. If you are going to be late, please arrange for someone else to collect your child and let school know. A late bill will be issued via Scopay and will need to be paid before any more bookings can be made. Any waiving of the fee is at the Headteacher’s discretion.  

If your child is collected late twice, then your place may be withdrawn.

Changes or cancellations - No refunds are available for cancellation or illnesses as staffing is put in place in advance to facilitate this After School Club provision.

Activities –

The emphasis will be on choice and enjoyment. After School Club is also a time to chill after the day at school.

These may include :

  • Arts and crafts (drawing, painting, model‑making, seasonal crafts)
  • Construction toys (LEGO, building blocks, magnetic tiles)
  • Board games and puzzles
  • Outdoor play
  • Small‑world play (cars, dolls, figures, imaginative play sets)
  • Mindfulness and calm activities (colouring, quiet music)
  • Group games (charades, team challenges)
  • STEM activities (simple experiments, building challenges)
  • Creative writing or drawing stations
  • Music and dance activities
  • Storytime sessions
  • Seasonal themed activities (e.g., holiday crafts, nature walks, garden projects)

Behaviour - All normal school rules apply at After School Club and the school’s Good Relationships and Behaviour Policy will be adhered to at all times.

Positive behaviour choices are crucial to the smooth running of The Honey Pot. Where a child makes a poor behaviour choice, parents will be spoken to and should there be a further incident this child may be asked not to attend in future.

Contact details - It is your responsibility to keep us updated of any changes to your contact details, or the details of people who we can contact in an emergency if you cannot be reached.

First Aid - After School Club staff are trained to deliver First Aid.

Concerns - Should you have any concerns regarding your child’s time at The Honey Pot, please in the first instance talk with the leader of After School Club. If you are not satisfied with the action taken, please speak to Mr Robertson about your concerns. We will investigate your concerns and respond as quickly as possible.
