Fundraising and Community Clubs, Links and Events

Here at Dalestorth, we love to put the FUN into our fundraising. We encourage the children and adults to support our fundraising ideas that will benefit our school, the community and various charities who appreciate the contributions we make.

Charity events we support include ~

Macmillan Coffee Morning, Poppy Appeal, Children in Need, Comic Relief, Food banks in the local area – including our Harvest Festival and the successful Reverse Advent Calendar project and the NSPCC.

Events for FUNdraising in our school include ~

Our discos – Halloween – Christmas – Valentine – Easter and Spring/Summer.

Friday Tuck – treats on sale each week for 50p chosen from a range of favourite choices from the children.

Break The Rules Day – a yearly event where the children can break some rules and have some fun!

Easter raffle – tickets sold at 20p each with “dozens of eggs” to be won.

Chocolate Day – children bring in a bar of chocolate in exchange for non-uniform day.

Dalestorth school also enjoys links with the local community, many support our school in different ways to enhance our curriculum and provide additional activities for our children to participate in ~

Riley’s sport and fitness, ATTFE in Sutton, Lammas Leisure Centre, Asda, Morrisons, Sutton Acadamy, Quarrydale, Mansfield Town Football Club, local football league clubs, choir singing events at Sutton light switch on -  John Eastwood Hospice – Kings Mill Hospital – local care home and the Young Voices event in Sheffield, field work around our local area and trips to Sutton library.
