Does your child qualify for a Nursery Place?

If your child is born between:

• 1 April and 31 August
• They are eligible for a free place from:
• The beginning of the Autumn school term following their 3rd birthday

If your child is born between:

• 1 September and 31 December
• They are eligible for a free place from:
• The beginning of the Spring school term following their 3rd birthday

If your child is born between:

• 1 January and 31 March
• They are eligible for a free place from:
• The beginning of the Summer school term following their 3rd birthday

*Please be aware that being eligible does not guarantee a place in our Nursery

30 Hours Funded Entitlement

Some working parents may be entitled to 30 hours childcare funding for 3/4 year olds. Parents are required to complete an online eligibility checker and provide a reference number to confirm their eligibility for 30 hours funded childcare.

At Dalestorth Primary & Nursery School we will aim to offer places to eligible parents where places are available. Due to operational circumstances places will be offered on a 30 hour basis only. These hours will be available whether or not the parent decides they require their child to attend for the whole 30 hours. Therefore if a parent requires additional hours at another setting the parent will be responsible for payment of this.

Extended hours funding only covers the Nursery session times (8:30-11:30 and 12:30-15:30). There will an additional charge for childcare over the lunch time period. Parents are asked to provide a packed lunch for their child.
